Doom and Gloom or Hybrid Art Opportunity? – Love it or hate it – the robots are here! Below is a selection of robots generated as a visual experiment. No two robots are the same. Each one has its own unique character. They are all bringing balloons as a gift. There are seventy of them in total, although more were generated. They are all a by product of my research paper. They were fun to generate and I’ll just leave them here.
Surprising Results – I was quite pleased with the results of my Blender computer generated Chladni Patterns. However, just as the title to this blog suggests the end results may not necessarily have been the most interesting part. In order to generate the patterns in Blender I needed to create a network. I found this tentacle-like network (almost like neurones) quite fascinating. I cover the network diagram in my post ‘Blender – Who Knew?’ Following on from this I decided to ‘stylise’ the network and from there I created some patterns. This is purely an experiment and I will save these designs for later as they may prove useful in future projects.
