If at First You Don’t Succeed –
Last year I entered some of my work for the annual ‘Pulp’ exhibition. It’s all about the creative use of paper. I love working with paper and card, so I wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was working blind, as I was unable to find any examples of work from previous shows. Below is a photo of one of the pieces I entered.
Although, I was quite pleased with my work at the time, having visited the ‘Pulp’ exhibition (Bovey Tracey), I can understand why my piece wasn’t a fit.
However, I left the gallery feeling incredibly inspired. I’ve pasted a selection of works into a photo gallery below. I’m hoping that there will be another call for entries this year. This is because I feel my work has come a long way since last year.
A Selection of Pulp Art Pieces
Below is a selection of art pieces from the Pulp exhibition. There were also some amazing cardboard sculptures by James Lake. I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition and I’ve got lots of ideas for this year if there is another call for paper artists.
