Exploring Research Papers –

Today was a really interesting session.  Jason and Thomas were the first in our class to present their research papers.  Jason was looking at how humans had in the past and continue today to affect the planet. It was a fascinating presentation.  There was a really poignant part in it where someone described in blunt terms how she saw her husband being blown up. It is so sad and incomprehensible how humans treat each other.

Thomas spoke about his research findings which were linked to gender.  He had noticed through his work that generally girls tend to favour art much more than boys.  Thomas is doing some excellent work teaching art to young boys in the Arab Emirates.  He had produced an interesting piece of work.

We had some really good discussions about the presentations and I’m looking forward to next week.

Sadly due to a week of ‘manic mobile making’ I probably won’t be able to produce a new Zentangle. I am still hopeful that I will be able to pick this up again soon.
