Meet the Supervisor – Janet Waring Rago
Today was an exciting day because we got to meet our supervisor. This will be the person to guide us through the task of compiling our research paper. Jonathan placed us in groups with our respective supervisors. My supervisor is Janet Waring Rago and my group consists of Thomas, Rachael, Sue, Ellie, Jason and me. We had a really good ‘get to know you’ session where we all discussed our projects.
What struck me most was a feeling that we are all in this together. As such people were very helpful in bringing their comments and ideas to the table in order to help other students in the group. An interesting link mentioned during the session was Academia.edu, which I intend to check out.
Speaking with Janet was very useful and helped me to further narrow my research question. I am really looking forward to working with Janet on my research paper.
